MamoImage Dataset, When evaluating the performance of an algorithm, it is advisable to utilize a standardized test database (dataset) so that researchers can make direct comparisons of their findings. However, many mammographic databases are not available to the public. The most accessible and widely used databases include the Mammographic Image Analysis Society (MIAS) database and the Digital Database for Screening Mammography (DDSM). Additionally, there are currently a limited number of initiatives focused on creating new mammographic image databases, alongside several older projects that are still active.
